Stuffed Felt Peep Toy or Pillow for Barbie DIY

I know folks are divided, seems either you love or ~not love~ eating Peeps... But you have to admit, they are an Easter icon. And since they originated in nearby Bethlehem, PA, I've always supported the company by buying a pack or two for Easter. My Barbie, Chelsea and Kelly dolls all happen to love Peeps! So I thought it would be fun to whip up a little stuffed Peep toy for Easter. This is a simple project that only requires some felt and either (the correct) glue or a needle and thread.

Since I didn't have matching thread I thought I'd glue mine together...
After a few failed attempts, the best glue was Aleene's Turbo Tacky Glue.
But... It would just be easier, and faster, to sew it.
I used a Sharpie for the eyes and nose,
you could sew on small black beads or sew on French knots too.

My stuffing is a thin 1/4" wide piece of felt folded in half.
You could make yours thicker if desired, and you'll be able to get more stuffing inside if you sew it.

Here's a pattern I found on-line,
Mine is about 2 1/2" long stuffed.
