Foam Sandals for Flat Footed Barbie -Free Pattern DIY

No matter our age, dress size, or what we look like, there's a little diva Barbie in all of us:@) I picked up a pair of hot pink kick-around sandals at Walmart, and while sitting on the garden swing one day I thought... I bet I could make a pair for flat footed Barbies! And so I did. It takes a little patience to cut something this small out of a foam sheet, but it really wasn't difficult. And hot glue can be a bit messy but I aimed for just the smallest dab, and that helped. The little gemstone adds some bling, Barbie's a blingy kinda gal.

This is just one of those projects I made simply to see if I could...
I think they turned out kinda cute๐Ÿ˜‰

From tip of toe to end of heel, aim for a  scant 1 1/4" long.
Hopefully you can save the pic and use your scroll wheel to make the pattern smaller so you can trace it.

Draw the pattern on to the foam.
Flip pattern over and draw the other foot.
Cut out.
Glue longer strap over the shorter strap.
Embellish if/as desired.

My inspiration:
My son says they can be seen from the space station...

Barbie says she's ready for summer now!

 ~Make something just for fun...
 And have a happy day๐Ÿ˜Ž

  3. Thanks for sharing this pattern. It might also work for the Mattel WWE Fashion divas and the Mattel BTS dolls - both sets have larger feet.
