Ken is determined to win the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest this year!!! I'll show you how to make a 10 minute felt doll vest, cut from one piece of felt (cost=25¢) that's very easy to put together. But the real fun of this craft is embellishing it... Decorations can literally be anything, ribbon, glitter, buttons, stickers, sequins, Christmas trim, etc. Oh and, the gaudier the better:@) This is a great sleepover project for kids, you can even make the vests ahead of time and just let them have a decorating party. Followed by a Christmas movie and cookies of course...
I sewed the holly sequins and beads on, then used hot glue for everything else😎
And the back:

and you can find a free Barbie Santa hat crochet pattern here.

Hello, I have to laugh, the wreath on his back is actually an earring from a set that was marked down to 75¢. I appreciate you stopping by-thanks!
ReplyDeleteUgly Christmas Sweater Contest? You made me laugh. The vest is great!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that's brilliant, Ken looks fab! Here in the UK we don't call them ugly sweaters, we just call them Christmas jumpers, no matter how tacky or awful they are!
ReplyDeleteLOL...! Can't help but think of Bridget Jones and her 'jumpers'!
DeleteLoving this great look, I have to pin this, too cute! Hugs, Sandi
