Ken's Ugly Christmas Sweater Vest -Free Barbie Pattern, No-Sew Option

Ken is determined to win the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest this year!!! I'll show you how to make a 10 minute felt doll vest, cut from one piece of felt (cost=25¢)  that's very easy to put together. But the real fun of this craft is embellishing it... Decorations can literally be anything, ribbon, glitter, buttons, stickers, sequins, Christmas trim, etc. Oh and, the gaudier the better:@) This is a great sleepover project for kids, you can even make the vests ahead of time and just let them have a decorating party. Followed by a Christmas movie and cookies of course...
I sewed the holly sequins and beads on, then used hot glue for everything else😎

And the back:

This pattern does fit the Elf on the Shelf too.

Looks like Ken is ready for the holidays😉

Make something just for fun and have a happy holiday season🎅

  1. Well, this is a very cute "ugly sweater vest"! The text on the back is great, you always find such things in perfect sizes for the little dolls, great work. :)

    1. Hello, I have to laugh, the wreath on his back is actually an earring from a set that was marked down to 75¢. I appreciate you stopping by-thanks!

  3. Oh my goodness, that's brilliant, Ken looks fab! Here in the UK we don't call them ugly sweaters, we just call them Christmas jumpers, no matter how tacky or awful they are!
