Well, it seems like it's been ~forever~ but the thrift stores and flea markets have finally begun opening back up here in the Philadelphia area. I've even seen a sign or two for yard sales! I am thankful:@) I found this fun Barbie size scooter for $1, and Barbie took it for a test drive down to the ice cream stand. It's a good size and Ken fits on it too,
although he kicks dirt and wishes it wasn't purple... I'm happy with it and sure it will work it's way into photos. But even more than that, I'm happy to have my stores back open and Saturday morning routine returning to normal! (Albeit with face masks.)
The markings on the bottom say Spin Master 2010, a quick Google search didn't tell me much more.
But Barbie thinks this is one-sweet-ride😎
My ice cream cone was a purse that came in a 97¢ Barbie Mystery Pack,
I had a duplicate so I cut the strap off.
I hope your world is beginning to get back to normal too-
Have a great day!
Thank you for letting me know about the scooter! I don't know much about dolls other than Barbie, I just always look for things that are about 1:6 scale. I agree with you, the virus is still around, it's scary and we still need to be careful. Have a great week:@)
ReplyDeleteNow that was a sweet scooter and ice cream of course, I scored pretty much zippo yesterday, 2 small wire baskets not even special. Scooter is very cool though. Sandi
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandi, it just felt great to be out visiting my favorite stores:@)
DeleteBarbie looks like she's enjoying the new ride that you found for her. You have a great find there!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, have a great week:@)
DeleteLove the scooter! I have been on the lookout for one but nothing on the used market yet, may have to find a new one on eBay.
ReplyDeleteHappy hunting! I'm glad we're beginning to be able to find things locally again:@)
