Dollar Store Barbie Bed Makeover

Since I had some time on my hands... I thought I'd makeover the Barbie bed I bought at Dollar Tree a couple months ago. The first thing I did was give the sheets and pillow a couple spritzes with a can of white spray paint. I wasn't trying to make them white, just to have sheets that weren't hot pink, but still had a little rose colored hue. Then I simply took some acrylic craft paint and painted the frame and headboard brown. Two coats, and I decided any brush strokes would just mimic wood grain, I'm fine with that:)

I also tried it with a rectangular doily from the closet as a springtime bedspread. 

The little side table is from Dollar Tree too.
