Thanksgiving Turkey Outfit from Balloon and Craft Feathers for Kelly Doll (Barbie)

Here's another fun balloon craft for the small Kelly or Chelsea dolls in Barbie's world. I started with my simple picture tutorial for cutting a 12" balloon HERE. From there, hot glued some craft feathers together to make the turkey plumes. Don't have feathers?  This would work by cutting felt into feather shapes or using fall colored silk or craft leaves too. Add a few squiggle lines with a Sharpie for pin feathers in front and we have a cute little Thanksgiving outfit for doll play.

The corn is a button from my stash.
After I took the first set of pictures I decided to add a little more color to the corn😉

I simply hot glued the feathers together, fanned out like a bouquet.

Then just hot glued the feathers to the back of the balloon.
Our model today is another 50¢ thrift store rescue,
I'm guessing she's ~thankful~ to be here😊

Make something just for fun and have a happy day!
