Barbie DIY Day of the Dead Mask and Mattel's Dia De Muertos Doll

I took my DIY Dollar Tree Ken/Barbie skeleton mask and turned it into a Day of the Dead mask. In Googling images, it looks like pretty much anything goes, so I hot glued some sequins and colored it with Sharpies. I think a headband of flowers would be really pretty and Barbie says glitter is always welcome:)

This is a seasonal project that will most likely keep the kids busy for a while.
All it takes is a $1 skeleton and some items from your craft stash.

Mattel did make a Dia De Muertos Doll-here.
As you'd expect, the detailing is stunning.

According to the on-line dictionary:
The Day of the Dead is an annual celebration to honor the spirits of the dead, observed in Mexico and other Latin American countries on November 1 and 2, concurrently with All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day.
